What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website places in your browser to remember something between page loads. They are how this site knows, for example, that you have already confirmed your age and do not need to be asked again on the next page.
What this site uses
We keep it to the minimum. There are two families:
Essential cookies — set on every visit, needed for the site to work. They record that you have confirmed your age, that you have made a choice about optional cookies, and that a form submission has been received. Essential cookies do not require your consent under Norwegian law because the site cannot work without them.
Optional analytics cookies — set only if you accept them on the cookie banner. They help us understand which pages are read, in aggregate, so we can improve the site's writing and layout. They are stored for up to fourteen months.
We do not set advertising cookies. We do not set tracking cookies for third parties. There are no social-media pixels on this site.
Your choice
The banner shown on your first visit offers two buttons of equal prominence: Accept all, and Reject optional. Either choice is respected for a year, after which the banner will ask again. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data from your browser, which will bring the banner back on your next visit.
Changing your mind
To withdraw consent for the optional analytics cookies, clear the site's storage in your browser settings. To ask us to delete any information already collected under a previous consent, write to [email protected].
