About these terms
These terms cover the use of the Coast Spirit website at coastspirit.cfd. They do not cover a stay at the house itself, for that, the arrangement letter we send in reply to your enquiry sets out the specific terms of your booking.
Using this site
You are welcome to read and share the pages of this site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy the photographs, the drawings, or substantial passages of the writing for commercial use without our written permission. The wordmark, the ink-drawn coast, and the compass motif are ours.
Information on the site
We take care that the information we publish about the house, the rooms, the kitchen, the evenings in the great hall, the mezzanine gaming room, is accurate at the time of writing. Details change with the seasons: room availability, evening programmes, the hours of the smokehouse tasting. The confirmation we send in reply to your enquiry is the authoritative version for your visit.
Enquiry form
The enquiry form on the home page is a way of writing to the house. Sending it does not create a reservation or any other contract; a stay is arranged only when we have written back to confirm the dates and the rooms.
The mezzanine gaming room
Access to the mezzanine gaming room is reserved for resident guests aged 18 and over. Guests who look under 25 will be asked to show identification at the door. The house may close the room, or ask a guest to leave it, at its own discretion.
Links and third parties
Where the site links to an external page, as it does, only on the responsible play page, to two Norwegian information services, those pages are outside our control and we do not warrant their content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Norway. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by correspondence with the house will be heard in the ordinary Norwegian courts of the district of the house.
